Anshu Jampsenpa, hailing from Bomdila in Arunachal Pradesh, has conquered Mt Everest for the fourth time on Tuesday evening. Earlier, she has scaled the Everest twice in a matter of 10 days in one season, becoming the only woman in the world to achieve this feat. Anhsu Jamsenpa holds the Dalai Lama in high regard and in fact, she took blessings from him before leaving for her latest expedition on April 4. According to reports, Anhsu Jamsenpa reached the top at about 9 AM on Tuesday (IST). She made her first attempt in May 2011 and scaled another time in the same season setting a record. In 2013, she again made a successful attempt, making India proud.
#AnshuJamsenpa valiant & undaunting! Resilience & perseverance at its best! More power to you, may you keep scaling.
