Baahubali 2: The Conclusion -SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus – starring Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah, and Ramya Krishnan – has taken the world by storm. It has broken several records and left fans swooning over its larger-than-life picturisation, cinematography and a hearty tale of the rulers of Mahishmati kingdom. It is also the first film in Indian cinema to amass over Rs 1,000 crores in all languages.
The portrayal of Amrendra Baahubali and Mahendra Baahubali by Prabhas as well as Anushka Shetty stunning Devasena adds a thousand times over to the film. The songs of the film Jay Jaykara, Jiyo Re Bahubali, Veero Ke veera, and Soja Zara are popular picks by singers and musicians for the covers and mashups. One such instrumental cover of the song Soja Zara by artist Praneeth Kumar Thoranala is a delight.
Praneeth’s version is so on point that you actually feel you are listening to the original. But considering the original has added elements and a lovely choreography to give it that x factor, brownie points to Praneeth for keeping the audience engaged till the end.
