The craze for Baahubali: The Conclusion is far from over. It has been a month since its release and the movie is on a spree of breaking new records each day. Director SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster is going places and literally so. The movie which released abroad in all the Gulf countries, Australia, USA, UK, Pakistan and Singapore has already grossed Rs 2,000 crore, in India itself its Box Office collection has reached Rs 1,000 crores. Bahubali 2‘s unprecedented success doesn’t go to undermine the popularity of Baahubali: The Beginning, because it was only because of the suspense of the climax scene of Baahubali 1, which drew crowds to the theater in such large numbers. Video of two scenes from Baahubali 1 dubbed for Chinese audience in Mandarin have surfaced and it is unusually funny to watch Prabhas and Sivagami talk in Mandarin.
One of the videos from Bahubali 1 dubbed in Mandarin features a scene where Queen Sivagami of the Mahismati Kingdom carries young Amarendra Bahubali’s in her arms and courageously takes over the control of the kingdom with the help of their faithful warrior and servant Kattappa. The most amusing thing about the video that is dubbed in Mandarin is that it sounds quite funny when Sivagami calls out Kattappa’s name in that ‘Chinese’ accent. You will definitely not pronounce Kattappa the same way again, once you listen to this.
