One of the biggest news broadcasting networks, BBC found itself in a tough situation yesterday when they accidentally aired a pornographic movie while live! Whenever a reporter presents the news, the background usually either a generic static image or full of bustling BBC employees walking past or sitting and working on their work-stations. While we understand it’s pretty necessary to take a break from work every now and then, this guy took it a little too far!
Whilst BBC’s News At 10 was being aired, this guy was pretty oblivious of the fact that his computer screen is being captured on camera and being aired live to almost 3 million people. The problem here isn’t with the computer, but with what was playing on the computer: soft core porn. While the content is debatable (was it porn? Or was it a movie? Or GoT? Probably GoT), the fact of the matter is that breasts were flashed on national television. On BBC. A bad day for the employee, right?
While BBC has given out a statement saying the case in being looked into, people are furious as to why employees are watching porn with the ‘tax payer’s hard earned money’
And, as always, Twitter had to butt in:
@BBCNews why is there a porn video playing behind one of your news anchors during a report?
