These two awesome 'Punjabis' show it is possible to do Bhangra on the title track of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. And, Smriti Irani just loves it.

We are sure that millenials still remember Ekta Kapoor’s once popular show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (those haunting memories, LOL) and if not, they would definitely have some recollection of its opening track where the female protagonist, Tulsi virtually introduces all the family members of the Virani family, as the title song plays in the background. Many spoofs have been made of this show’s title track since but seems like Tulsi, who is now the Union Textiles Minister, is completely loving this latest one. Smriti Z Irani, retweeted a video of two ‘punjabi mundas’ performing Bhangra on a remixed version of the title track of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. You must be wondering how can someone perform a Bhangra on Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi? But these two guys have nailed it!

The video, originally tweeted by one Vijay Arora read something like ‘Punjabis can dance on any music…because they’re born with their own rhythm’. Smriti Irani retweeted the video and excitedly wrote ‘Agreed!!! Paajis pao Bhangra’. 

After watching the video, we also agree that Punjabis can, undoubtedly, dance on any music. Their talent knows no bounds. We are now waiting for more such awesome videos. Any guesses which would be their next one? May be this time it would be Parvati’s Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki. After all, Sakshi Tanwar is no less popular.
