Netflix decided to give the House of Cards another twist with Alok Nath doing some badass dialogues of his own, much like the lead character from he show, Frank Underwood. Alok Nath plays the father of Biswa Kalyan Rath and questions about the famous political drama that has got everyone waiting at the edge of their seats for a comeback. Alok Nath basically begins by asking Biswa, who plays his son in the video, what is House of Cards all about. Clearly, he has missed all the drama that the American series has unfurled in the past 4 years. In this subtle comedy video we can see this father-son duo re-enacting the plot of the popular American drama series. Biswa quiet patiently humours his father who begins to compare his office politics with that of the politics which has been portrayed by the show. Alok Nath compares the fight for his promotion to the fight for the Presidential nominee in House of Cards. His good-natured son goes on to narrate instances from the show that he begins to see in his own life. Alok Nath begins to aspire to become the real Frank Underwood to the extent that he goes on to contemplate having an affair. The video concludes with Alok Nath’s parting thoughts: Sanskaar is so overrated.
Like the good son he is, Biswa tells his father that House of Cards is about Frank Underwood who is politician who wants to become the President of the United States
Biswa sums up Frank Underwood’s character in the best way possible: When everyone is thnking one step ahead he is thinking five steps ahead, referring to the shrewd politician’s strategies to achieve power.
The father is not satisfied, and like every middle-class family parent has some very obvious concerns for Frank’s unabashed lust for power:
He has some personal experiences which help him relate to the situation as described by son:

The popular political drama series House of Cards is all set to return on May 30, 2017. The Netflix original is an American drama series where every character has certain shades of grey and has widely been appreciated in India and among other audiences overseas. Kevin Spacey’s portrayal of Frank Underwood stands out partly because the show’s creators have written incredibly powerful and badass dialogues for him in every season.
