After being stuck in innumerable controversies, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat finally hit the theatres last week and most movie-goers have loved the period drama.
One thing that people couldn’t stop talking about was the ‘Ghoomar’ song (and it’s edited version to cover Deepika’s midriff, ’cause sanskaars) that has created a lot of buzz on social media and while Indians were busy tearing up posters and protesting against the song, NBA cheerleaders danced oh-so-beautifully to Deepika Padukone’s Ghoomar and the internet fell in love with them!

To add to this fervor, another videos has emerged on YouTube, in which figure skater Mayuri Bhandari can be seen twirling effortlessly to the tunes of Ghoomar. She has choreographed the entire routine all by herself. While posting the clip on YouTube, she said- “In honour of the film Padmaavat‘s release, here is my ice skating tribute to the beautiful song Ghoomar! As a Rajasthani, I skate to this song with pride!”
With over 27,482 views, the video is receiving praises from everyone who has watched it.
