Pennywise is the opposite of scary in this Punjabi ‘It’ parody – Watch

Who knew that the frightening Pennywise The Dancing Clown from Stephen King's It movie also happens to be fluent in Punjabi?

Ever since the recent release of Stephen King’s It, the film has been touted as the best horror flick. Based on King’s 1986 novel of the same name, It has done well as per critics and the Box Office numbers prove that the audience is absolutely loving it. So, there is no doubt about the fact that the horror movie’s scary ghost, Pennywise the Dancing Clown, is absolutely petrifying. But, as frightening as he may be, fans just couldn’t keep themselves from caricaturing his awesome dancing skills.

In a video that has recently gone viral, the terror of Derry, Pennywise, can be seen speaking fluent Punjabi. Parodying the scene where Pennywise takes poor six-year-old Georgie a victim, the video shows the clown greeting the child with a very welcoming, “Kidda, Georgie?

After a hilarious exchange about SS Georgie that prompts Pennywise to say, “Badi soni boat rakheya tu,” the clown attempts to trick Georgie inside the gutter. But, right before he does, the video cuts to a quick scene of Pennywise dancing to Daler Mehndi’s classic 90’s song “Tunak Tunak Tun.”

The video, that has been posted to the Facebook page ‘The Mistri’, has received nearly 2,000 shares and over 5,000 likes. The admin of the page states that they were “cracking up” while recording the voice-over for the Punjabi parody. Looks like the admin’s efforts have paid off well as people are loving this Punjabi parody. “This is better than the actual movie,” wrote one Facebook user.
