For women, pregnancy comes with a lot of dos and don’ts. Every culture has its own set of traditional rules for women that are meant to be observed during pregnancy for the well-being of the mom- and child-to-be. But in Taiwan a group of pregnant women defied all restrictions usually imposed on pregnant ladies and danced their hearts out at the Taipei Railway station. The video, uploaded by news website Shanghaiist, went viral on the internet with more than 85 k views.
A group of about 21 women danced to none other than Luis Fonsi’s foot-tapping number, Despacito. According to the Chinese tradition, expecting mothers are ‘not’ supposed to participate in any celebration as too much joy can adversely affect the baby. If that didn’t make sense to you, it’s totally fine and this is why these mothers-to-be came together to ‘enjoy’ themselves and show the world that each pregnancy is different and there can be no universal rules.

The video went viral but reactions vary from people questioning the ‘relevance’ of it to others, who totally enjoyed the performance of the happy moms-to-be. The happiness in their heart is so visible but then, there were those on who found the whole act ‘shameful’. Well, haters gonna hate, right?

Kudos to all these women!
