People are clearly spending a lot of time on social media and a result of this addiction is a lot of trolling because what else is one to do with 4G internet anyway. Veteran actress Shabana Azmi turned out to be Twitter’s latest target for posting a picture with a caption that incorrectly labelled poha as upma. The full text says: “Upma cooked by Ketki for breakfast in Florence! That’s what u expect was the demand of the gujju ladies im with… .” Since nobody on Twitter has ever incorrectly captioned photos before, the troll brigade came out in full force. Feeling clearly thankful for the food prepared by one of her friend, Shabana’s post can only be called cute, but Twitter had other plans.
Although a few people corrected her with the dish’s name, but in what can be seen as a unhealthy trend on social media these days, what followed were a bunch of distasteful memes.
