There is always that one grammar fanatic in your friend circle, who always tries to correct you when you mispronounce an English word or a sentence. And Shashi Tharoor must have been one of those friends. English is a language that only a few of us have been able to master, so what if we had a colonial past. No, we aren’t saying you need to master it. If you had, you’d never have been able to enjoy Shashi Tharoor targeting Arnab Goswami in his tweet, which goes something like this: ‘ Exasperating farrago of distortions, misrepresentations&outright lies being broadcast by an unprincipled showman masquerading as a journalst (sic)’.

If you understood the meaning of that sentence, please help Twitter understand. After a report was aired on Arnab Goswami’s channel, Republic, accusing Tharoor of being involved in foul play in wife Sunanda Pushkar’s untimely death.
