Singer, 41, reportedly detained by airport officials because she ‘didn’t look her age’

Do we blame passport officials? No, after looking at her photographs, we clearly don't. Take a look.

Imagine you are returning from an eventful foreign trip but custom officials detain you for interrogation. Sounds frightening, right? Because most often, it has either something to do with the documents or security threat. In either case it’s not a good feeling. Something similar happened with Natalie Dzenkiv, who sings for Ukraine’s popular pop/rock band Lama. But she was stopped for something completely unbelievable. Officials doubted if Natalie was actually 41 (her age mentioned on the passport she was carrying), as reported by Hindustan Times.

Natalie was returning from Turkey to her homeland when officials at the immigration department called her aside, as per LADbible. Do we blame the officials? Actually, no, and even you would agree once you see her. The officials, in fact, thought that Natalie was travelling on someone else’s passport as to them she looked 20 years younger.

According to the report, she was allowed to go only when some of her fans recognised her and started asking her for autograph. Natalie also said, “When I found out the reason for my arrest, I started laughing as it was the age in my passport. I am already used to compliments about the way I look, but I couldn’t have imagined that it might be a reason for detaining me.”
