Sushma Swaraj is not somebody you mess with. Not on Twitter!
We all know how active our Minister of External Affairs is on Twitter especially when it comes to Visa related queries and requests. She has always been commended in India and abroad for the prompt help she offers on visa and passport issues.
Not to forget her tryst with E-commerce giant Amazon that went viral and Amazon ended up issuing an apology for carrying doormats featuring the Indian tricolour.
Also, she’s pretty much the boss at shutting people up with single replies. There’s no trolling Sushma Swaraj!
Recently, Mrs Swaraj issued VISAs to two Pakistani actors, Adnan Siddiqui and Sajal Ali, who wanted to shoot in Delhi for Sridevi Productions’ ‘Mom’.
This didn’t go down well with Hindu Jagran Sangha. They tweeted to Narendra Modi while accusing Sushma Swaraj of issuing VISAs to Muslims only:
Modi Ji @narendramodi Your Sushma @SushmaSwaraj,Only take care Of Muslim Visa. But Hindus are getting harrased to get India Visa. VERY UPSET

She did not ignore the tweet.
Being her vocal self, the foreign minister countered the allegation. She gave a fitting response and set the record straight.
Sushma said that matters of caste and religion did not matter to her since India was her country and all Indians were her people. “India is my country. Indians are my people. The caste, state, language or religion is not relevant for me,” she tweeted.

Now that’s how it’s done!
