This artist uses the sun to create ‘paintings’ and the result is stunning

Looks like you’re all set to create some amazing paintings, right? What if we told you that you need to throw all of these out, grab a magnifying glass and start creating art? Weird, you say? Well, it’s pretty routine for Angus Jackson, who ditched his paintbrush and canvas and decided to paint with the sun instead. How? Read on to find out.

What looks like a simplistic sketch is actually a pretty intricate work of art made using a magnifying glass to amplify the sun’s rays and ‘burn’ the painting onto a piece of wood. Angus Jackson from Austin, Texas doesn’t really like ordinary art. While he does make paintings using his brush once in a while, he loves using the sun’s wrath on tree barks to create amazing art. The process is quite time consuming and needs a lot of precision. The way he creates such intricate designs with such ease is pretty commendable.
