Aamir Khan’s super hit Dangal has broken all records in China by making more than Rs. 1,000 crore. And here is proof of the love that is being showered by Aamir’s Chinese fans by dancing to the tunes of ‘Dhakaad.’ This ‘Dhaakad’ tribute comes from Aamir Khans fans who have formed a fan club of the Dangal star. The fan video has the popular wrestling film’s song Dhaakad with people dancing in different locations in the viral video. In what can only be seemed as an earnest gift to Aamir, the video was uploaded by ‘AamirKhan FC China’ on YouTube on July 5. With dancers coming together to perform in public places and the video has been viewed almost 3 lakh times since it was shared. Shot across various locations in China, the fan group is seen recreating famous steps and scenes from the movie.
Aamir’s PK (2014) grossed over Rs. 100 crore in China, but the movie Dangal surprised them all. And with all their excitement the fans seemed to be brimming to give Aamir a token of their love, which is when the video came in. Aamir must be blushing. Silly fans!
The social position of the girls and the way they rose to achieve excellence in the traditional sport of wrestling in the film has wooed the hearts of China. So far so that many girls and boys even copied the haircuts of the actors Geeta and Babita Phogat and Aamir character of Mahavir Phogat.
They chose the song specifically out of all the songs in the film, solely because Aamir Khan had sung it himself. With only a week to prepare, most of the dancers had no professional background or inherent dancing skills but decided to give Aamir all his love. The dance moves come straight from the original video of Dhaakad as performed in the movie. The Chines population sure seems to be loving Aamir’s swag from the way they have mirrored his choreography and replicated the dance moves with an edgy mood. And as far as viral videos go, we are convinced.
