2016 was a good year for music and now that it is done and dusted, we can reveal the biggest mash-up of all the super-hit pop numbers. Curated by Raina Hertan and Jake Donaldson, this mash-up combines all the songs you’ve played on loop last year. Though the video was released last year, it was recently shared by Radio One Lebanon and has gone viral since then- garnering thousands of views.
The song begins with Closer, because obviously- it’s Closer- the biggest song of 2016. Next in the list is “This is what you came for”, an EDM song by DJ Calvin Harris, featuring Barbadian Singer Rihanna. One dance, We don’t talk anymore, Trap queen are the subsequent songs.
2016 just ended and we’re already nostalgic. Call us old-school but we’re listening to this mash-up on replay.

What the duo missed in this mash-up was Sia’s Cheap Thrills which spent 38 weeks in the Top 40 but missed out on being Number 1 – it did, however, claim its place as the third biggest song of the year, with 1.46m combined sales.
