Watch: ‘Love biryani, hate Reshammiya’, stand-up artist describing common Indian & Pakistani traits will make you LOL hard
Watch this amazing stand-up artist from Pakistan remind you how India and Pakistan have so much in common, despite all the differences.
Pakistani stand-up comedian, Akbar Chaudry’s video from one of his 2016 shows in the United States of America has re-surfaced and is going viral for all right reasons. At a time, when the relationship between India and Pakistan has been put to test yet again after the Kulbhushan Jadhav episode, the video is a reminder that despite differences, the two countries share so much in common.
From our love for freebies to our hate for having to follow traffic rules, Akbar Chaudry lists out a number of things that connect us. He starts out with ‘Indians and Pakistanis are essentially the same people…We are similar in so many ways’. Then he goes on to describe how the millennial kids of Indian and Pakistan grew up watching shows like CID and wondered ‘how ACP Pradyuman got confessions with a single chamaat (slap)’. LOL. Our love for biryani, Coke Studio and MS Dhoni and our hate for traffic rules, Himesh Reshammiya – made it to the list too. Oops!
India and Pakistan are similar on so many levels and Akbar ends his video with a message of love, peace and harmony but doesn’t forget to make you laugh. His video has collected around 418 k views and has been shared by over 5k Facebook users.
