Watch: Siddharth Mahadevan’s song for EIC rips apart shitty tourists Goa is forced to deal with

In a hilarious new video, East India Comedy (EIC) has mocked every bachelor's dreamy, booze-infused, bucket list trip to Goa.

Remember your plans to visit Goa? Of course, you do. You made them just yesterday! Just like you did the day before. And the day before that… and the day before that. The question we need to ask is, did you ever really visit Goa? And what do you even plan to do there? Actually, don’t even bother. We already know your checklist. And, so does East India Comedy. In a new video, comedy group EIC has mocked every bachelor’s dream Goa trip.

Sung to the tune of the title track of the film that gave us our first travel goals, Dil Chahta Hai, this song takes a dig at that clichéd trip to Goa- loads of booze, hitting on foreigners, perhaps some “mood uplifters”… you probably already know it all.

The song has been sung by none other than the son of Shankar Mahadevan, who lent his voice to the original ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ song. “Dil chahta hai, Goa jaane ke liye long weekend/ Dil chahta hai, hum na rahe kabhi daaru ke bin,” sings Siddharth Mahadevan.

Every step, every point on your itinerary is a tick off from your bucket list. And clicking the mandatory selfie at every stop, without which, you could never have had that “perfect Goa trip.” To be honest, it has become pretty generic. So, while you remedy your itinerary, enjoy this latest song and check out everything that you should not do while in Goa. ‘Cause it may sound like a lot of fun but, at the end of the day, it really is not.
