Apple launched iPhone 7 red. Here are some Twitter reactions that will make you LOL

Planning to get iPhone 7 (RED)? You might just get trolled!

Earlier this week, Apple launched its flagship smartphones iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in a new colour variant– red. The smartphone has been launched in recognition of over 10 years of Apple’s partnership with (RED), which is Global Fund that supports research, businesses and people in the field of AIDS awareness.  The vibrant new colour marks a stark diversion from the classical shades that Apple has used in its iPhones so far.

The special edition iPhone will be available for sales via Apple Stores worldwide from March 24 in over 40 countries including Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand and UK. However, it will be available in other countries including India, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Turkey from April.

The news about the red coloured variant of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus spread like a wildfire on the social media. While on one hand people were excited about the new launch and wanted to get their hands on the limited edition smartphone, on the other hand, there were others who were amused by the choice of colour given the iPhone’s history of having subtle shades.
