Demonetisation has created a lot of chaos in the country. People can be seen standing in long queues outside the banks to exchange their old currency notes.
More than 2,00,000 ATMs were re-calibrated on Tuesday to accommodate the newly introduced Rs 2,000 notes, Reuters reported. Yet, there were reports of people standing outside banks and ATMs in long queues to withdraw cash.
In these testing times when the country is facing a severe cash crunch, tech giant Google has stepped in to help the citizens to locate the ATMs near their location.
In case you’re wondering how you can locate the ATM using follow the steps:
Step 1: Open ‘Google.com‘ on your web browser
Step 2: Click on ‘Find an ATM near you‘ on your home page. Google will show the results via Google Maps
Step 3: You can even get directions to the ATMs. Just click on the branch you want to visit on the map and poof it’s done!
