On Tuesday, Facebook CEO MARK Zuckerberg received a less than warm welcome when he testified before a joint hearing of two Senate committees. The 33-year-old was grilled by the US Senators over Facebook’s role in the Cambridge Analytica data scandal.
The testimony, which went on for nearly five hours saw the senators asking Zuckerberg a range of questions from the social network’s role in the 2016 presidential elections to how the company handles its data. However, the hearing did not turn out to be on expected lines as each senator was given less than five minutes for questions. That meant that there was no room for follow-ups, no chance for big discoveries.
