Apple’s iPhone 8 has been in news ever since the company launched iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in September last year. From giving us a peek into to the design of the new iPhone to rumours about its technical features, tech insiders and Apple enthusiasts have kept us occupied all throughout the year with their timely leaks that have wooed us each time. After months of surfing the Internet for iPhone 8 news, we have discovered yet another video that will shed some light on how the phone will look like.
As we inch closer to the launch of Apple’s iPhone 8 (hold on, isn’t it iPhone Edition? Ugh…we’re still confused) which is scheduled to take place this fall, there are some features that have stuck along the way. And the new video, by Shai Mizrachi just confirmed some of these design features.
For instance, Apple’s new iPhone will feature a dual camera that will be placed vertically on the left side of the back panel of the iPhone and a glass design. Apart from this, the new video also shows the iPhone 8 with a metal chassis, which is unlike all other design leaks we have seen so far. Furthermore, the new iPhone is likely to come with a home screen button that will be embedded in the display of the phone. Earlier, some leaks suggested that the Cupertino-based company might place the home screen button along with the fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone under the Apple logo, but the new design leaks just negated that theory.

Apart from this, there are some features that we know will definitely make it to the end (though there is no official confirmation yet). Apple unveiled iOS 11 earlier this month. Apple’s new mobile OS not only features a host of interesting features but also a smarter and a more intuitive Siri. So, we won’t won’t be surprised if iPhone 8 is powered by iOS 11. Apart from this, iPhone 8 is likely to feature support for Apple’s smart speaker HomePod.

But of course, at this point all of these are rumours and we won’t know anything for sure till Apple launches iPhone 8 later this year.
