After launching Moto G5 Plus in India earlier this month, Motorola’s parent company Lenovo is all set to launch its younger sibling Moto G5 in the country. Moto G5 would be unveiled exclusively via Amazon India on April 4, 2017. It would go on sale on April 5, 2017, midnight.
Moto G5 is powered by 1.4 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and comes with 16 GB internal memory. It features 13MP rear camera with 8x digital zoom and 5MP front camera. The 5-inch full HD display of the phone is protected by water-repellent nano-coating and it sports a 2,800 mAh powerful battery.
On the other hand, Moto G5 Plus is powered by 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. It is available in two memory variants– 32GB and 64 GB. It features 12MP rear camera with 4K Ultra HD video capture and 5MP front camera with a special ‘beautification mode’. The 5.2-inch full HD display of the phone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and it sports a 3,000 mAh powerful battery.
Both the smartphones run on Android 7.0 Nougat and come with internal memory that can be expanded up to 128 GB via a microSD. The two smartphones phone feature Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 4G LTE and 3.5mm micro USB jack for connectivity and are available in two colour variants– Lunar Gray and Fine Gold.

Moto G5 is likely to be priced less than Moto G5 Plus which was launched at Rs 14,999 for the 3GB RAM+16GB storage variant and Rs 16,999 for 4GB RAM+32GB storage variant.
