Motorola on Thursday launched Moto Z2 Play in India. The phone is already up for pre-orders on Motorola India website and it will be up for pre-orders on Flipkart starting at 2 PM today. While the phone will be available for pre-orders between June 8 and June 14, it will be available in the market from June 15, 2017.
Interested customers can pre-book Moto Z2 Play by paying Rs 2,000 at the time of booking and paying the balance in 10 EMIs without any interest. However, the offer is valid through Bajaj and Homecredit. Alternatively, interested customers can also swipe their cards and convert the payment into monthly EMI without any interest at selected stores.
But that’s not it. As a part of its pre-offer, the company is also offering a ‘Hello Armour’ kit which includes a metal case, a back cover, protection cover and a selfie stick. Apart from this, Motorola is also offering 100GB free data to the Jio users, which will be available even after the pre-launch offer expires. The company is also offering 50 percent off on the purchase of Moto Mods.

Moto Z2 Play
In terms of specifications, the new smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Moto Z2 Play is powered by 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 system on chip (SoC) and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It is available in two memory variants– 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. The internal memory can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card.
MotoZ2 sports a 12MP rear camera with dual LED flash and dual autofocus lens and a 5MP selfie camera with wide-angle lens. The phone is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery and supports TurboPower charging technology, which provides 50 percent charge in just 30 minutes. Moto Z2 Play sports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.2, USB-C port, NFC and GPS for connectivity. The phone is available for Rs 27,999.

Moto Mods
The company also launched three new Moto Moods in India. While the Hasselblad True Zoom Mod transforms your phone into a powerful digital camera and JBL SoundBoost Mod gives an additional audio boost to your phone. On the other hand, Insta-Share Projector Mod turns your phone into a powerful projector.
