Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 set to launch in India on June 13

Your wait is about to get over as HMD Global, the company that holds the rights to manufacture smartphones under the brand Nokia, is finally launching its three flagship devices Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 in India. The Finnish giant is hosting a special event in India on June 13 wherein it would be welcoming ‘a new era of Nokia smartphones’. To recall, the company had launched its iconic phone Nokia 3310 in India back in May at Rs 3,310. However, at the time, it had made no mention as to when it would launch its three smartphones in the country.

Nokia 3

Nokia 3 comes with a polycarbonate back and a solid aluminium frame that protects the phone from any external damage. Talking about the specifications, Nokia 3 features a 5-inch polarised HD display that is protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.

Nokia 3 sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera. The phone is backed by a 2,630 mAh battery and has 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB 2.0 for connectivity. It is available in three colour variants– Tempered Blue, Silver, Matte Black and Copper.

Nokia 5

Nokia 5 features 5.2-inch polarised HD display that is protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC in its core and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The smartphone is backed by 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. In terms of camera, the phone comes with a 13MP rear camera with PDAF and an 8MP selfie camera. The phone has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G LTE for connectivity and comes with a 3,000 mAh battery. Nokia 5 is available in three colour variants– Tempered Blue, Silver, Matte Black and Copper.

Nokia 6

Earlier this year, HMD Global had unveiled Nokia 6 smartphone in China and the phone is finally making its way to India. In terms of technical specifications, Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch full HD display. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It is available in two RAM variants– 3GB and 4GB and sports 64GB expandable memory. The device features a powerful 16MP primary camera and an 8MP selfie camera. Backed by a 3,000 mAh battery, the phone has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for connectivity.
