One of the world’s most popular smartphone chipmaker, Qualcomm is teaming up with the motion picture production company, Lionsgate to bring the Power Rangers Virtual Reality (VR) experience to you. And what’s even cooler is the fact that Qualcomm is powering the new Power Ranger VR set with a brand new processor– Snapdragon 835.
The Power Ranger VR experience is based on Lionsgate’s Saban’s Power Rangers, the movie that will hit the theatres on March 24, 2017, and will allow you to enter the zords of your favourite Power Ranger and embody their powers and capabilities. The much-awaited VR would be first displayed at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas on January 4, 2016.

According to Qualcomm, Snapdragon 835 has been engineered keeping in view the VR technology and will feature a ‘superior responsive and immersive 3D graphics and video VR experience’.
The event is even more important given the fact that Qualcomm will unviel Snapdragon 835, which is going to be a step-up from Snapdragon 821 processor that powers smartphones like Google Pixel XL and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor that powers Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge.
