Heard the great news folks? WhatsApp will soon let you share multiple contacts in one go! Not just that, you can send multiple contacts to multiple people in one go. You don’t need to waste time selecting individual contacts every time you want to send out more than one contact. Isn’t that amazing?
This feature will be introduced in the Android beta version 2.17.123 of WhatsApp. In case you were wondering, here’s how you can use this handy feature:
- Open the WhatsApp chat window of the person you want to send the contacts to.
- Click the attach icon in the message text box and click on contacts.
- Now click on all the contacts that you want to send out. The maximum limit of the number of contacts you can send in a go has not been specified yet!
- To share these contacts with multiple people, just click on share and select the people you want to forward the contacts to.
As you can see, it’s pretty easy!
Initially, it will be rolled out for beta testers. The other users will have to wait for a while. To enroll as a beta tester, you can visit the Playstore and click ‘Yes, I’m in‘ on the ‘Enroll as a beta tester‘ option at the bottom of the page.
This feature is pretty useful, isn’t it? Wanna send out contacts of all your classmates to somebody? Planning a party and want to send out multiple contacts to the host? It’ll be done in a jiffy!
Recently, the maximum number of pictures you can send in one go was raised from 10 to 30. Now with multiple contacts, Whatsapp has become much more efficient!
