The world is an oyster for them, and they like to take the plunge. They are the ones who pack their bags and leave. No destination set, no plans, just a tingling feeling in the heart.
2. I NEED A BREAK
This kind is all of us at some point in our lives. We need a break from the humdrum of our busy lives and seek equanimity. They see travelling as a diversion from the hectic corporate life and just want to relax near the poolside and maybe, read some books. Travelling is more of a recreation for them.
3. The Instagram Traveller
There is a huge surge in this kind but this kind is hugely diverse. So we are going to sub categories it.

They are explorers who love travelling and Instagram, so they decided to combine and make a career out of it. You’ll find the most breathtaking pictures of rare, not widely travelled places on their feed and they will make you fall in love with the idea of travelling.

Now they are the tricky ones. They may or may not be very passionate about travelling but they think travelling is cool, so ‘yo! Imma traveller’. #Wanderlust and #TravelDiaries are their favourite hashtags but hey! we are not judging. These kind are also enchanted by the above Instagram Explorers and hence, they do take a shot once a while.
4. Imma All About the DSLR
They are the photography freaks we all want in our group. These travelling pants are more about the cam jam than the real explorations. They like their angles more than they like travelling.
5. The Escapists
Tired of a 9 to 6 job or going through a bad breakup? Be like The Escapists. They see travelling as an escape to forget all the lemons life throws at them and finally breathe. It’s actually not a bad idea to seek solace in travelling when only BS surrounds you.
6. Sisterhood of Travelling Pants
This kind travels in a pack. For them, travelling is a way to cherish old bonds and recreate great memories with friends. Their travels plans regulate between each other’s plans and a strenuous planning for months to come. They love their pack and want to travel as much as they can because who knows zindagi na milegi dobara!
7. The Planners
This kind is an antonym to the explorers. They love their to-do list and like everything planned. From their hotels, to where to head, what to see on day-1, 2, 3…They dislike unorganised trips and would never travel with an explorer.
8. The Extravagant Traveller
They like luxury and for them travelling is an uber luxurious, sea-facing resort. They love their exotic spa sessions, the complementary gifts, shopping sessions and the cosy sheets of their rooms.
9. Go Goa. Yup, only Goa
This the most sorted kind. For them, the answer to all the questions is Goa. Solo trip or with friends, they love Goa and wouldn’t ditch it for any other place in the country. And we get it, Goa is amazing! They like a cold beer in their hands and some sand in their toes.
