Nowadays people have opinions on almost everything on social media, from someone’s body to their pet to something as futile as someone’s appearance. And why not? After all everyone is entitled to an opinion (read, people are sitting idle doing nothing constructive), however, useless it may be. So this time, in the eye of the storm is a pair of crocs. No need to read it again, you read that right. Balenciaga, a Spanish luxury fashion brand, unveiled its new crocs, correction platform crocs or ‘foam shoes’ as it calls them, at the Paris Fashion Week and social media just cannot stop talking about how ugly they look.
So, after a fashion journalist, Alexander Fury posted a photograph of the ‘crocs in question’ on his Twitter, his tweet got an overwhelming response from people talking about how horrendous the crocs look. Not that the poor crocs did not find any takers but haters were way too many too count. BTW, apparently the crocs cost Rs 43k. *Woah*
We would leave it you to decide, if the debate below interests you. Here, have a look at the ‘platform crocs’ photo gone viral:

So many tweets and characters wasted on a pair of shoes. Much wow.
