Ed Sheeran dropped ‘Shape of You’ in January and since then the world has been going gaga over it. India has risen to the occassion with four students of IIT-Roorkee who released their fun dance video to the number a few days back. When it’s a number this feet-tapping, it’s a crime to expect that Raveena Tandon and Sunny Deol would keep out of it!
In this new video, Raveena Tandon and Sunny Deol can be seen dancing to ‘Shape of You’ in their signature style that took Bollywood by storm for a very long time. Shared on Facebook by a page called ‘Daily Social’ and the video is hilarious. What’s better is each beat syncs smoothly with their dance moves and so do their expressions. We have no idea if Ed Sheeran ever imagined his song would seep into India’s nerves so deep, but it sure has.
The video is originally from the iconic ‘Jiyara Dhak Dhak Dhak Dhak Bole’ from the 1998 movie ‘Salaakhein’ and none of us could ever imagine how the steps seem like they were made for Ed Sheeran’s chart-topping number. Watch the video for yourselves here and it will make you believe again why Bollywood’s dance moves are never ever a misfit no matter what the beats.
