The first look of Nintendo’s brand new home gaming system is out and it’s totally wicked! The three-minute trailer gives us deep insight into the much-awaited gaming console- Nintendo Switch.
Switch is a console/ portable hybrid that uses cartridges and can be connected to a TV. While the console can be used to play games on the home base- station, it doubles into a portable hybrid, enabling gamers to play video- games on the go.
As seen in the trailer, two controllers (Joy-Cons) attach to the central unit to act las a single controller. Additionally, these controllers can also be used while playing games in the multi-player mode.

Nintendo Switch enables gamers to select an optional Nintendo Switch Pro Controller instead of the Joy-Cons, giving them liberty to play their favourite video games wherever they like, whenever they like and with whomever they choose to.
The most exciting feature of the trailer, however, is the part that shows players playing Splatoon on their Switch consoles in a giant arena, giving hints about the company’s ambition to venture into the e-sports market.
“Nintendo Switch allows gamers the freedom to play however they like,” President and COO of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime said in a press release. “It gives game developers new abilities to bring their creative visions to life by opening up the concept of gaming without boundaries,” he added.
Nintendo Switch is all set to release in March 2017. So gamers buckle up, coz it’s time to Switch!
