Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi launched its flagship smartphone Mi Note 2 at a launch event in Beijing on Tuesday. Along with Mi Note 2, the company also unveiled what it is calling the ‘ultimate smartphone’- Mi MIX.
Designed by Philippe Starck, the 6.4-inch Mi MIX features a full ceramic body that will make your heads turn!
Mi MIX runs on MIUI 8 and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. The phone comes with a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Unlike all the other smartphones available in the market, the front camera of Mi MAX is located at the bottom of the smartphone and rotates automatically when the user wants to click a selfie.
Mi MIX comes in two memory variants- 4GB RAM with 128GB internal memory and 6GB RAM with a whopping 256GB internal memory. As far as the connectivity is concerned, the 4G-enabled dual-SIM smartphone comes will full NFC functionality and supports high-precision positioning GPS, infrared and Bluetooth. Mi MIX also features a powerful 4400mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.

However, the most noteworthy feature of Xiaomi Mi MIX is its screen that comes with 91.3 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Mi MIX is available in two colours- black and 18 karat gold version and comes in two price variants. While the 4GB RAM variant is available for RMB 3499 (Rs 34,460 approx), the 6GB 18k gold variant is available for RMB 3999 (Rs 39,380 approx).
Though the new ‘concept phone’ was launched in China today, there is no word on when it will be launched globally.
