32 Indian peacekeepers were injured and one child was killed in explosion in eastern Congo. One child has been reportedly killed. The cause of the explosion is still unknown, says UN Mission.
According to Reuters report, the peacekeepers were out on a morning run when the blast took them by surprise. The blast took place in the Western goma neighbourhood of Keyshero, according to the mission. The news agency quoted a local imam saying at least three peacekeepers were killed.
About 18,000 personnel of the UN peacekeeping mission are stationed in the conflict ridden Republic of Congo.
