Bill Gates will be world's first trillionaire in next 25 years: Research

Bill Gates could become a trillionaire, in the next 25 years, a word that has not even recognized in the dictionary as an official word.

A new research has claimed that American business magnate and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates could become world’s first trillionaire in the next twenty-five years.

According to research conducted by Oxfam International, Bill gates will be the first trillionaire ever in the year 2042 when he reaches the age of 86.Oxfam International had made this claim considering that Bill Gates’s fortune is growing at 11 per cent per year since 2009.

The research further revealed that Bill Gates his net worth was $50 billion when he quit Microsoft in the year 2006. His income increased to a whopping $75 billion in 2016. The rise in his wealth was even after his efforts of giving away his wealth to charitable foundations.

It must be noted that apart from his many other charity work, Bill gates also was one of the founding members of The Giving Pledge which is a commitment by the world’s wealthiest individuals and families to dedicate the majority of their wealth to philanthropy. “In such an environment, if you are already rich, you have to try hard not to keep getting a lot richer. The super-rich can achieve returns that are not available to the ordinary saver, helping the gap to grow between the wealthy and everyone else,” the report said.

In another report, Oxfam revealed that there are eight other biggies including Bill Gates, that constitute the half the population of the poorest in the world. The list has Warren Buffett, Inditex founder Amancio Ortega, Mexican investor Carlos Slim, Amazon chief executive Jeff Bezos, Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and Oracle’s Larry Ellison.
