Here’s why Pakistanis ‘hate’ Malala Yousafzai amid claims that the brutal attack on her was scripted!
Pakistan MP Mussarat Ahmadzeb has claimed that Malala Yousafzai was shot in the head but no bullet was found in the CT scan.
While the entire world praises Malala Yousafzai, loves her for showing immense courage, people from her own country – Pakistan – seem to ‘hate’ her. In 2012, Malala Yousafzai was shot by militants for going to school. As soon as the incident happened Pakistanis started coming up with conspiracy theories many dubbed her as an American agent, CIA puppet, etc.
Recently, the latest person to lash out at Malala Yousufzai was Pakistani member of Parliament Mussarat Ahmadzeb. She claimed that the attack on her was “scripted way before the incident”. Ahmadzeb claimed that Malala was shot in the head but no bullet was found in the CT scan in Swat. But, later the bullet got stuck in her head in CMH Peshawar.
Pointing fingers at the government, she alleged that all the medical practitioners who examined Malala were “awarded plots by the government”.
Many controversial theories keep doing the rounds on social media, and it seems that many Pakistanis do not like Malala. The fact that a 14-year-old girl could gain humongous popularity, that too for a noble cause like education is a bit hard to digest? Here’s why Pakistanis hate Malala Yousafzai so much:
- Many of the Pakistanis question, ‘Why Malala?’ Out of all the girls fighting for rights not just in SWAT, but even in other areas of Pakistan, why was she the only one facilitated?
- Conservatives claim she is an agent of the West. After Yousafzai wrote “I Am Malala”, the conservatives claimed that the book proved that she was against Islamic laws and wrote like a Westerner.
- As she became more prominent and had contact with world leaders, including the then US President Barack Obama, Pakistanis started hating her and asked as to why she fraternized with those responsible for drone attacks. They didn’t observe the fact that Yousafzai had spoken about the drone attacks
- They believed that the West through Malala want to malign the image of Pakistan and Islam and that they were in search of a figure like Malala from a long time, so they planned it all to use her against the Pakistanis.
- Many who still don’t belive in women empowerment, see her as a hindrance. They are jealous that a girl at such a tender age is now a Nobel Laureate.
- The Pakistanis can’t distinguish between Malala’s brave resolve to fight for what she believes in and the praises she has received for displaying this courage from the West. They hate her because they have anti-West sentiments.
