A woman was caught on camera being seemingly racist after she asked visited a doctor’s clinic along with her son who had chest pains and insisted on seeing only a white doctor with no “brown teeth”. She told the reception that she would only get her son who needed medical attention treated from a white doctor that does not have an “accent”.
According to a report in the Washington post, the lady who had brought her son to the Canadian medical facility after the child complained of chest pains and that she does not want to see a brown doctor. A man identified as Hitesh Bhardwaj who was present at the clinic when the things were rolling out recorded the incident. “So you’re telling me that my kid has chest pains, he’s going to have to sit here until 4 o’clock? Can I see a doctor please that’s white, that doesn’t have brown teeth, that speaks English?”, she can be heard saying in the video.
The employee told the adamant mother that it was not possible to get a “white doctor” immediately. However, the mother refused to budge and kept insisting the employee to get a white doctor.
Another woman who was a witness to the entire drama came forward to contront the mother and told her that she was being “rude” and “racist” adding that her son was in a need of medical attention.
“Your child clearly has more issues with you being his mother than him needing to see a doctor. You are extremely rude and racist,” she told the mother.
The report further suggested that the police who was called in said that the woman at the clinic was being “verbally aggressive” while demanding a white doctor for her son. Eventually, a doctor from the very same treated the child.
The woman, however, kept on saying that the people at the clinic were all “brown” and that they were attacking only because she was “white”.
