This is why a man in China drove a car into the middle of a river

As soon as police officials got to know they rushed to the place and started the rescue operation

These days we often rely on technology to get our work done and most of the time it’s really helpful also, however, sometimes too much dependency on it can make a fool out of us and a similar thing happened with a man in China. In a rather funny incident, a man who seem to be overly reliant on the technology had to ‘bear its brunt’ as he blindly followed his GPS and drove his car into the middle of  a river.

What made it more comic was that the entire episode happened on April 1. As soon as police officials got to know about it they rushed to the place and started the rescue operation. The incident took place in the Anhui area of China.

But all their efforts went in vain and after making several failed attempts they took the help of  a bulldozer. It took them nearly 12 hours to take the car out of the river and save the man, according to News.163.com.

He was not familiar with the area and took the help of GPS to reach his destination but where he reached was not even closer to it. When asked what made him to take such a step,  the man hold GPS responsible for the entire incident.

But the question that kept popping up in everyone’ head was that why he did not stop even when he noticed that he is not going in the right direction and continued to drive all the way to the middle of the river.
