Slurrrp! Beat the heat with this Museum of Ice Cream!

The museum is a half art gallery and the other half decorated with ice-cream parlours

People in Los Angeles have something to cheer about: the highly anticipated ice-cream museum is all set to make its way to the city.

After a well-received stint in New York for a month in 2016, these ice-cream shops will now make way to LA in April. Also, this event is going to be larger and bigger than their previous one at New York.

It’s going to be huge as the cost spent on setting it up is double than the previous event and the space in which it will be set up is four times than that of the one that took place in New York last year.

In the museum of Ice Cream, there is a rotating selection of scoops from the ice-cream brands like McConnell’s, Salt and straw, Coolhaus. The museum is a half art gallery and the other half decorated with ice-cream parlours.

Last summer, when the museum was set up in New York, it caught the attention of many people and the list includes actor Seth Rogen and wife Lauren Miller.

It went on to become so popular that 30,000 tickets were sold in the first five days. Not only this, it also had a waitlist of 2,00,000. To make an entry in the ice-cream museum in LA, one has to shell out $29. Meanwhile, tickets for the children are priced at $18.

The event in LA will see new installations like “banana split” which will be made up of 10,000 bananas and melted ice-pop jungle. Also like last year, this time, too, the museum will have a hundred-million-sprinkles pool.

The sale of tickets will start from April 3 and the American Express cardholders can buy tickets from March 30.
