In an unusual turn of events, the Islamabad Police has filed a case against Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The case has been registered for creating hatred against the armed forces and inciting people against the Pakistani Army.
According to a report in Pakistan’s English daily Dawn, the document registered with the Islamabad police is not a FIR but a report known as ‘roznamcha’. Lawyer, Ishtiaq Ahmed Mirza lodged the report on Wednesday at the Civil Line police located in Rawalpindi. Mirza also claimed that he is the member of IM Pakistan party.
As claimed by Mirza, he received a clip on his WhatsApp, in the video a person was seen making a speech against the army of Pakistan and was trying to provocate people. When he took a closer look at the video, it turned out that the person in the video is none other than the Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif who was allegedly creating hatred against the country’s armed forces.
After which Mirza filed a complaint against the head of the PMLN party, Nawaz Sharif. The complainant also claimed that the party that he represents IM Pakistan is registered with the Election Commission of Pakistan. The Civil Lines police lodged a report against Nawaz Sharif after receiving the complaint.
Pakistan army has always played a major role in the politics of the country and has also ruled the country. In last 70 years, the country has been ruled by the army for more than 33 years.
